活動詳情 About The Event

(此活動以英語進行)

We are delighted to invite you in joining us at the 3-day Lovingkindness Meditation retreat led by Jessica Mui. This is wonderful opportunity to start the new year with a wholesome mind and kind heart!

Lovingkindness is unconditional love and friendliness towards all beings. It makes no distinction between any living being.  We start this practice with kindness towards oneself, and then extension to others. By cultivating Loving-Kindness, we can treat ourselves and others kindly and know how to use the supple forgiving heart to accept ourselves and others, leading us to live our daily lives harmoniously and with ease of mind.

This retreat is suitable for beginners, as well as experienced meditators.  The format will be a combination of sitting and walking meditation sessions throughout the day. Participants will need to observe Noble Silent and pass mobile phones for the organizer to keep during the retreat period. Vegetarian breakfast and lunch will be served. Evening meal will be quite light.

Please ensure you have read the Fa Hong Monastery Code Of Conduct guidelines before applying for this event.

Fee: By Donation, we request a $300 deposit to be paid in advance to reserve your space. The money is refundable upon completing the whole retreat if needed. However, it is not refundable if you cancel the retreat.
